Depending upon the area you live in, and/or willing to travel to, the co-ordinator will be able to give you help and advice on how to go about this, and what dogs are available through their Rescue. Many are unfortunately old and just want a caring and loving home to see out their years.
These organisations will never rehome a dog who has bitten or who have aggressive tendancies toward people.
